Comfort Suites Chincoteague Island Bayfront Resort

I'm delighted to have stayed at this hotel, starting with the excellent service from all the staff. Everyone was friendly and greeted you with a smile. The room was clean, and overall, the entire hotel was. In fact, we noticed in the breakfast area that they were constantly cleaning the place, which was very pleasant. The room was of good size, had a hairdryer, small refrigerator, and microwave, which can always be useful (in fact, you can get frozen food at the reception that you can buy).

I usually don’t have stellar reviews for any hotels but this one absolutely deserves it! Starting from the front desk, ease of checking in (early too!), to the cleanliness of the ENTIRE hotel, to the staff - immaculate! It is situated in a very convenient location where you can walk everywhere. Rooms are spacious, beds were comfortable and all the amenities ( including a fly swatter! Lol) loved everything about this hotel and will absolutely be back! Thank you Michelle!

I’ve stayed here multiple times over the past few years and will continue to choose this Comfort Suites! The staff are always available, helpful and friendly. The rooms are set up nicely and the hotel is very clean. The pool and hot tub are great for getting your day started and for finishing your evenings with a relaxing soak. Breakfasts each morning have a variety of foods available, whether it’s a hot breakfast, waffles, fruit or something baked. The view from the ample balcony is stellar. There is plenty of room to sit and greet the day with a steaming cup of tea. Beautiful sunrises and many types of water fowl greeted me each morning. The location is perfect and very convenient. The staff sent an email before I arrived sharing news about local events that were happening during my stay such as the Cultural Arts Craft Fair and Tree lighting, both of which were fun! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars this time was that the bed was particularly firm. When I brought it to their attention, they immediately put on another quilted mattress topper which did help. It’s a great place to stay and enjoy the island and views…

This hotel is by far one of the best places on the island to stay. We stayed here twice and both times we loved it. The hotel is new and the rooms are HUGE. The beds are comfortable and the layout is spacious, you certainly won’t be claustrophobic when there. The balcony is a very nice added bonus. I’m an amateur photographer and on the balcony I was able to get some shots of dolphins and lots of fowl. For me, the balcony alone with the waterfront view was well worth it. I felt secure in the room and everything was very clean. This hotel might be just a touch more expensive than some others on the island but it’s totally worth it hands down. Trust me, I’ve stayed other places and id pay double to stay here again.
